Most Men Want A Traditional Wife

According to a recent research from Yorkshire Building Society in the UK, most men want a traditional wife – and women are often only too happy to oblige.

More than 1,500 adults were asked about the attributes that they ‘most valued’ in a spouse or partner. Their answers could have been taken from a manual to happy married life in the 1950s.

2. Cooking : 39%
3. Cleaning : 33%
4. Being a Great Parent : 31%

Most Values Attributes Women Want In Men:

1. Listen to What I say : 41%
2. Finanical Stability : 38%
3. Being a Great Parent : 27%
4. Gardening : 25%
5. Puts the Family First : 22%

Tanya Jackson, corporate affairs manager at the building society, said: ‘A lot of women used to think they wanted a metrosexual man.‘Many women now feel they actually want a hunter-gatherer and they will look after their man in return.’
